Privacy Policy
This is a placeholder. It describes what vibemuseo actually stores, but it has not been reviewed by a lawyer and does not attempt to satisfy GDPR, CCPA or any other regime. Replace it before running this publicly.
What we collect
- Account details — username, email, and a hashed password. Passwords are stored using bcrypt and cannot be read back.
- Profile details — display name, bio, avatar, banner and any links you add. All optional, all public.
- Your uploads — images and the metadata you attach to them.
- Activity — likes, follows, comments and collections.
- View records — which artwork was viewed and when, with the IP address stored as a hash rather than in the clear. This is used for view counts and to rank trending work.
What we do not do
No advertising trackers, no analytics scripts, and no selling your data to anyone. Your email is used for account matters only.
Cookies
One session cookie, needed to keep you signed in. Your theme preference is kept in your browser's local storage, and on your account if you are signed in.
What other people can see
Your profile, your public artwork, your public collections and your comments are visible to anyone. Your email address is never shown. Prompts stay private unless you choose to publish them per artwork.
Deleting your account
You can delete your account from settings. That removes your profile, artwork and collections. Backups may retain copies for a short period before rotating out.
